Al-Fiqh Al-Hanbali

This course explores the foundational rulings and principles related to family life according to the Hanbali school of jurisprudence. Students will study important topics connected to marriage, family relationships, rights, responsibilities, and contemporary family issues through a structured and practical approach rooted in classical fiqh.

The class aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of how Islamic family law functions while highlighting the wisdom, ethics, and objectives behind these rulings. Lessons will include discussion of real-life applications and relevant modern considerations while remaining grounded in traditional scholarship.

8:00PM - 9:00PM

This course introduces students to the practical application of foundational principles used in understanding and deriving rulings from legal hadith. Through guided study and analysis, students will explore how scholars approach prophetic narrations related to Islamic law and how principles of usool are applied in real legal discussions.

The class focuses on connecting theory with application by examining legal hadith alongside the methodologies scholars use to interpret, reconcile, and derive rulings from them. Students will gain a deeper appreciation for the precision, structure, and wisdom within the Islamic legal tradition.
