Arabic 301: Advanced Nahw and Sarf

This advanced-level course builds upon the foundational knowledge gained in Arabic 201, advancing students’ skills in Nahw (syntax) and Sarf (morphology). Students will dive deeper into the complexities of Arabic grammar, exploring nuanced sentence structures, verb conjugations, and more intricate patterns of word formation.

With a focus on applying grammar rules to classical Arabic texts, particularly the Qur’an, this course is designed to strengthen students’ ability to analyze and interpret Arabic at a higher level. By the end of Arabic 301, students will be well-equipped to tackle complex Arabic sentences, enhancing their comprehension and translation skills.

Deepen your understanding of Arabic grammar and morphology. This course builds on the foundations of Nahw and Sarf, introducing more complex rules and practical applications to enhance fluency in reading and writing. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to engage confidently with the Quran and original Arabic works in grammar, fiqh, or literature.
