Hanbali Family Fiqh & Legal Hadith
Thursdays | Hybrid
6:30PM – 9:00PM
This Thursday evening program explores the principles and practical application of Islamic law through the study of Hanbali family jurisprudence and legal hadith. Students will examine foundational rulings related to marriage, family relationships, rights, responsibilities, and contemporary family issues according to the Hanbali madhhab, while developing an understanding of how scholars derive and apply legal rulings from prophetic narrations.
Through guided study of classical fiqh, legal hadith, and usool-based methodology, students will learn how Islamic legal principles are understood, interpreted, and implemented in real-world situations. The course highlights the wisdom, ethics, and objectives behind Islamic rulings while demonstrating the precision and structure of the scholarly tradition.
By connecting legal theory with practical application, students will gain a deeper appreciation for both the foundations of Hanbali family law and the methodologies scholars use to analyze evidence, reconcile narrations, and derive rulings relevant to contemporary life.
