Fiqh Al-Hanbali & Usool Al-Fiqh
Fiqh al-Hanbali
This two-year course offers a comprehensive study of one of the four major schools of Islamic law through a well-known Hanbali text. Students will gain a structured and practical understanding of all four major areas of fiqh: acts of worship (ʿibādāt), financial transactions (muʿāmalāt), family matters (nikāḥ, ṭalāq, etc.), and judicial rulings (qaḍāʾ). Designed for serious students, this class aims to develop familiarity with classical legal reasoning and how rulings are applied across various aspects of life.
Uṣool al-Fiqh
Uṣool al-Fiqh is a foundational science that every aspiring faqeeh and student of knowledge must study. It equips students with the tools to extract rulings from the Qur’an, Sunnah, scholarly consensus, and other sources. Unique to this ummah, Uṣool al-Fiqh is a discipline that defines how legal methodology functions in Islam. This course will be offered as a one-year program, laying the groundwork for anyone who wants to truly understand how Islamic law is derived and applied.
Bundle Offering
These two courses are offered as a combined bundle for students seeking both deep legal understanding and the methodology behind it. Classes will be held in person with a Zoom option available by need and request.

“Learning fiqh through Al-Waraqaat has been impactful in my day-to-day actions... This class has been my first time studying fiqh and it has been delivered in a way that is easy to understand without sacrificing depth.”
